Anjuman Khudam-ul-Quran

Anjuman Khuddam ul Quran is an organization founded by Dr Israr Ahmed based in Lahore with an aim to spread the Quranic knowledge and guidance on a broad scale and high intellectual level in order to start a revival of Islamic faith among the Muslim masses and clear the way of the second era of Islamic Khilafat.

Anjuman Khuddam-ul-Qur'an Sindh, Karach was established in 1986 with following objectives:

1. Teaching and promoting Arabic Language;
2. General encouragement of the masses for learning and comprehending the Quran;
3. Promotion of the Quranic Sciences;
4. Education and training of educated minds for spreading message of Quran; and
5. Establishing Quran Academies for spreading the philosophy and wisdom of the Quran at the highest level of intelligentsia.

Israr Ahmad's Thoughts and Academic Works

Master Thesis

Miss Shagufta Ahmad has submitted her master thesis entitled, "Dr. Israr Ahmad's Political Thoughts and Activities"to the McGill University, Canada in 1994. The thesis discussed in detail the intellectual development of Israr Ahmad and the influence of Allama Iqbal, Abul Kalam Azad and Maulana Moududi, Political Thought, especially his theory of revolution and the activities of his three organizations i.e. Anjuman Khuddam-ul-Qur'an, Tanzeem-e-Islami and Tehreek-e-Khilafat. Anjuman Khuddam-ul-Qur'an has published this thesis in 1996.
